Hey Wally,
Remember how you called me a wuss for missing the workout last night? Just for the record, I got a PR on the push press by 20lbs today, then did yesterday's workout too. Oh ya, and then I did my first muscle-up.
You working out today, or you going to take another day off?

Jonny F in the house!! Or should I say, "in Wally's kitchen"!?! Jon, PR, extra WOD, and a muscle up!! Awesome work today. We anxiously await Wally's response at the gym today....

I know I am a total dork, but here is my workout for the day.
X-Fit Workout/Take Advantage of Weather:
60 Squats
60 Push ups
Run along lake - Irving Park to North Ave and back - no resting
Total Time: 60 Minutes

Irving Park to North Ave roundtrip is 48 blocks! Thats 6 miles! Great Job. Makes my Ohio St to North Ave run look pathetic =(

60 squats, 60 push-ups, and a 10K all in one hour? There's nothing dorky about that-nice work, Jill.
Speaking of running, is anybody doing the marathon this year? For those that are, how are you planning to train for it? I'm definitely not going to run 30-50 miles per week like the last two years. I do plan on doing one long run (between 8 and 20 miles) on weekends, and one or two sprint workouts during the week in addition to my normal 3 on/1 off CrossFit schedule. I'm also on the fence about whether to join a CARA training program again or not. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

On another note, is anybody up for softball on (tentative) Thursday nights? So far my team has 6, and we need 12. Let me know either on here or at adam.c.wood@gmail.com-thanks!
That's two posts in 20 minutes-new PR!

Nice work on the 400m lunges next time outside at Revere Park in the winter you in?

Damon -
400 meter walking lunges...that was my first introduction to crossfit last September. I was travelling for work, saw that on the main website, and said to myself "BW lunges...how hard can that be?" I couldn't walk for about a week.
