Monday 6:30pm Crew - working hard

oldschool, love it.

My bum still hurts from Monday. Now my forearms are beat up. I think Justin is systematically breaking us down so none of us have any energy to misbehave on Saturday night.

yesterday's WOD
10:12- 155/20"
Posted by: Sheena | December 02, 2008 at 08:53 AM
Nice Sheens - going for the 155lbs! Hope you are doing well and keeping warm in good ol' Fargo ND! Miss you buddy! Keep posting. I love to hear how you are doing.
And todays WOD is a much harder workout than it looks. Give your forearms the pep talk.....they are going to be burning.....

DON'T FORGET IT'S 80'S WEDNESDAY TOMORROW!!
Can you believe Justin almost forgot? Good thing I reminded him; He'd have been so bummed if he had missed a chance to bust out his leg warmers...

sheena- 155 wow... 60 of those means you could max out at like 200-250 maybe. great job.
incidentally, here's a link to Jodi Bainbridge (106 lbs) setting the Canadian National record in the DL at 311 lbs. crazy.

Haha major typo! I very much did not do 155lbs for my deadlift this morning!
I stuck to the rx'd 125lbs and that was more than enough. Thanks for the vote of confidence though. Maybe I'll get up there soon.
I feel like such a poser :)

Oh man, I can actually make it to 80's Wednesday! YEEEESSSS! I think it's time to break out the spandex onesy.
By the way, you guys wish I was kidding...

Sheena I love the honesty. I will vouch for you though. You can do 155 for that workout, so I had good reason to believe you. Never a doubt. Can't wait to have you and Destiny in Chicago to hangout and workout....

Great day/night at WCCF...good energy, lots of pull-ups.
Colleen - way to get off the box and band tonight - you rocked the pull-ups!
Props to Matlas for the 18 rounds - and definite congrats to all the fellas that went CTB (chest to bar) tonight. Regs, T.J., Cal and Newman - nicely done!
Also... Everything old is new again - was great to see some familiar faces in there tonight. Nate, J.Rob, Aaron, Ed - Welcome Back!!!

I'm bummed I missed tonight. I hear I missed some people. JRob! Good to see your name on the board. And Nate! Regs and I were literally just talking about you, wondering where you had gone! So glad to see you're back! Okay okay...enough with the exclamation points. Nice job today everyone.... and way to ditch the box and band Colleen....that's awesome.
80's day tomorrow. I have to say, I unfortunately won't have any good gear because all my stuff is still in storage (no, we haven't moved yet!!) I say we should have at least one more 80's day after this..... please?
See everyone tomorrow......

The mix is ready 3.4 hours of 80's hits. I am ready to go. I expect big numbers everyone.

Lauren...Regs is allowed to lame-out on 80's day, but not you. Don't let him drag you down. Either unpack those boxes (not suggested) or hit a couple of shops tomorrow looking for gear. I'm counting on you. And so is Dingo...and Meagles....and Beef....you get the idea....

Lauren. I am bringing a little something something for you tomorrow. Never you fear.

Just wanted to send a quick shout out to BC and Steve who rocked out round for round in classic xfit style. I'm proud of both of you guys and truly inspired.
