just have to give a shoutout to yesterday's 5:30 class... the coolest thing i heard last night: the thunder that rolled as the entire class dropped their bars simultaneously after we ripped through the first squat clean of the third go-round. not sure if anyone else noticed it. it wasn't eddie vanhalen shredding the ax that juiced me up for that last set, it was all you guys tearing it up at once. truly a glorious sound! good job all!

Thanks for the shout outs yesterday. I wouldn't have been able to make it through the camp without WCCF and all of our constant support and encouragement. Pushing ourselves everyday was a huge help in preparing. I hope to see you all back in the box in another month or two. We have an awesome community...thanks again.

Howdy Partners, Greetings from Texas. I'm hoping to make it up to the Chi this weekend and of course come see mi familia at WCCF. I am home sick from work today so I'm going to blame the medicine for this post because you're really not going to like me after you read it...
We have a little tradition at CrossFit Dallas Central...It is called Birthday Burpees. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out but there is a birthday today in the box and I think it should be recognized because he is one of the best guys there. He is always going 110% in the WODS and even more importantly, 110% in showing support and trying to help others improve. He is a great person and a great friend to us all. So if you wouldn't mind knocking out 30 Burpees in his honor this afternoon that would be great. I will do them from here even though I'm sick.

P.S. It could've been worse, I could've picked Huddy or Cal.

Turtle - I like the idea...although with the way WCCF is growing, we may have burpees every day! Hell, Joel, Brent, and Corey all had birthdays over the last few days. I can't even count that high when you throw Corey's number in there!
