Dammit! I've still never done Fran and I have to miss it again. Oh well. As long as BC is unhappy then it's ok.

If anyone wants to watch or keep tabs on all the various Ultimate Frisbee WCCF people, the national championship tournament is this week, running from Thursday to Sunday. There will be results online as well as streaming video for highlights and selected top matches. The website is at the end of this post.

Cheer on Nemesis (the Chicago ladies), Machine (the Chicago men), and Real Huck (me) as we take on the rest of the country in Sarasota! (what can I say, I'm the only old guy.)

I'm with Leo -- SUPER bummed to miss out on my first shot at Fran!

I wanted to thank everyone at the box for all the support over the past year, through injury and puking and all the rest. I'm going to Ultimate Frisbee nationals this year as a better athlete than I've ever been before, and it feels great. I know I couldn't have gotten to where I am now without everyone pushing me over the past 10 months.

Also fun: I've been told repeatedly by people on teams we have played against this season (usually after we beat them), "Wow...your team is in really good shape." In my head I respond, "Taste it, nerds." I usually say something nicer out loud.

Lamb, check out Green City Market or another, local farmer's market. You will have the opportunity to get great meat, in some cases grass or pasture fed. Have a question about it? Ask the farmer, they are in most cases standing right there.
