One more thing on meat: during the last year, I've been paying more close attention to my body, exercising tons, and learning to listen to my body (noting how I feel in workouts and runs). My best 3.5 mile run ever came in the evening after having steak and a baked potato for lunch. Some of my heaviest (best) lifts have come during days after eating lots of high-quality hamburger along with anti-inflammatory vegetables (kale, spinach) and digestive fruits (pineapple).
Budget-wise, you can find $s for better food by cutting out alcohol, managing the trips to Starbucks and coffee shops, etc.
I've realized food commercials may not be good for health. I am tired of fast food, soda and beer commercials. Soda does not make me happy. I am very far from #1 when I eat french fries. And drinking with friends is not as much fun as WOD, 5ks, etc.
I've never tried "maca" and may do so in the near future.

@ Kaufman. Ever consider juicing? It's a lot of work but the payoff's are enormous. If you don't have the time or the interest... Metabolic Management sells a Biotics Research brand of Iron free Bio-Multi. I have a wholesale # that you are welcome to use anytime. Nice work on those lifestyle changes.. those are some big steps..
@ Dole.. stop being such a little b*tch

Just about to post that Bozarth....
I juice my own green drink most mornings or if my eating is off or I feel off, I'll be sure to have one during the day and I feel great when I have one.
I will juice a whole bunch of kale, some broccoli stems, celery or cucumber, a big handful of fresh cilantro, one small green apple and an entire lemon. It's very refreshing but just a pain to clean up.
Keep up the good work Kaufman.
Nice new WCCF shirts J$, how did the Operation get one so soon?

Used for running shoes forefoot after the heel lateral (hack mouth), the joint is easy to bend, reducing energy waste in the movement.
