"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

From yesterday...
Felt much better today than yesterday, which was garbage. Let's give it up for Brent who has managed 3 PR's in 2 days!!!!

Hello everyone,
After some time with the St. Baldrick's people on the phone I have a way to help you help me help kids.
1) Go to this site
http://www.stbaldricks.org/
2) Type Michael Mancini in search box on the top right of the page - a picture of me should pop up.
3) Click the Green Donate button and go from there
Thank you so much for all of you help.

OHS 85, failed at 90.. shoulders were so tired from yesterday.
Metcon: Who knows? I did make some good progress on my DU. Thanks Coach Craig for the positive reinforecement. :-) In all honesty, Coach Craig really did help me on my timing and "skill" as I struggle so much with DU.
Good stuff!

Has anyone seen Dingo and his hair lately? He needs a shave, desperately, so donate, it's a great cause!

OHS: 75. Shoulders felt so wobbly holding 85 so didn't go for it out of fear of having to throw the weight so early in the morning.
Metcon: Rows were all about 2 minutes. DU went quickly - the clock was not in its normal mode so anticipating a minute for each of those. Went almost unbroken in R1, had a rough R2 with sets of 15-20 and then almost unbroken in R3.
Shoulders. Are. Smoked.

275 OHS
Tried for 305 and failed miserably. Should have split jerked it to get under it as opposed to push jerked it. Oh well next time.
8:38 on the metcon.

OHS - worked up to 185x3, got 2 at 195 and had to dump the third. 195 is the most weight I have ever overhead squatted. (PR)
Metcon: 8:04....got the last 50 double unders unbroken trying to get under 8, just to further prove that double unders are 99% mental.

Thx for technique help on OHS coach Ashley - much appreciated. Metcon 12:50 as du's need ahem, a bit of work though I bought my own jump rope tonite which should help. Metcon for the 430 class was a minute quicker by each of us as coach Ashley threatened to keep dancing as long as we metcon'd.
