Thank you for your interest. I am glad that you found CrossFit. Windy City CrossFit is a dedicated, full time CrossFit facility...the first in Chicago. We have enough Kettlebells, barbells, bumper plates, jump boxes, Dynamax medicine balls, rowers, gymnastics rings, parallettes and pull-up bars to effectively train up to 20+ athletes at a time, and we do so every day. We post pictures, videos and the athletes' results on our website after each workout. Our athletes can go back and see their results from the past and see the improvements that they have made. This is an amazingly effective motivator!!
Prospective members are welcome to come in for a free introductory session, and then choose from any of the options below to join our community. The first workout is spent going over CrossFit methods, protocol, philosophy, etc. - taking you through the Official CrossFit Warm-up, and then our beginner CrossFit workout. Free Intro Session every Saturday at 11am - or call to schedule a different time that will work for you.
The CrossFit program is completely different from the experience you will get at any big box gym. The workouts are done in a group atmosphere, with anywhere from 6 to 20+ people. We have team workouts on Saturdays - a great way to build comaraderie and community; Olympic Lifting classes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday - great for building power and strength; and a CrossFit Kids class on Sundays - giving your children a solid foundation in physical fitness and health. At Windy City CrossFit, you will learn the Olympic lifts, Kettlebells, Power lifting, basic gymnastics moves and many different kinds of bodyweight exercises. WCCF On-Ramp
Are you ready to start doing CrossFit? The On-Ramp class is our beginner’s class and is specifically designed to prepare active, healthy individuals who are new to the CrossFit movements for our ongoing group Windy City CrossFit classes. One-on-One Personal Training
Some people prefer to learn in a one-on-one setting. WCCF can make that happen. We will generally spend 9 sessions introducing foundational movements, going over basic protocols and ramping up the intensity and bringing you up to speed. Our goal is to introduce you to Windy City CrossFit, our brand of fitness, and prepare you to join the group classes. Call to schedule.
Test Out
For those people that have been doing CrossFit for a while, either at another Affiliate or on their own, we offer a test-out option. You can contact us and we will schedule a time for you to come in and demonstrate your competence with one of our Coaches.
